The SEAOC Foundation is a 501(c)3 entity, whose purpose is to receive, manage and distribute charitable funds, providing tax-deductible recognition to donors. While the Foundation has a general focus to receive and distribute funds to advance the study of the scientific principles of structural engineering, the general nature of the Foundation and its bylaws is to support activities that improve the practice and profession of structural engineering such as:
- Supporting applied research projects through grants and donations.
- Funding of technical publication development.
- Processing donations to various scholarship programs across the state.
