Our Mission and Vision

In July 2021, the Structural Engineers Association of California completed a process to develop a Strategic Framework that defines the organizational purpose and priorities from which the Board of Directors develops objectives, activities, and timelines.

The Strategic Framework provides the Vision, Mission, Values, and means by which SEAOC accomplishes its mission.  This information and structure are utilized by the Board of Directors and SEAOC committees as part of a process to develop specific objectives, activities, and timelines.

On an annual basis, the Board of Directors will review the Strategic Framework to identify 3 to 5 priority areas of activity and desired impact for the next defined period.  The Board will provide direction to the Committees to consider the priority areas and to identify any additional priorities related to their specific activities and goals.
